On 12 October 2017 Fernando Viana scored FOUR GOALS during the 5-0 home victory over FC Septemvri and became the first ever foreigner with such achievement in an official match for our beloved Botev Plovdiv. From now on he is a recipient of the honourable "Don Fernando" in the history of the Botevism.
Fernando Viana Jardim Silva was born on February 20, 1992 in Brasília, Brazil. At age of 20, he started his professional career in the team of FC Morrinhos, from Goiás state, Brazil.
Fernando Viana joined Botev Plovdiv in January 2017 and made an impressive official debut on February 18, by securing the 0-1 away win over Lokomotiv from Gorna Oryahovitsa. Up to now he has 31 appearances and 16 goals with the yellow-black jersey. He is a Bulgarian National Cup and Supercup of Bulgaria winner for 2016-2017 season.
